Campbell goes Green

Offensive line prospect Luke Campbell of Olentangy High School in Lewis Center, Ohio has committed to Michigan State University.

He sent me the following message:

"I can truly see myself being there for the next 4 or 5 years and succeeding with the staff and the players. It is the place for me."

Campbell took his visit to Michigan State this weekend. He had the following to say about Michigan State prior to arriving in East Lansing.

"I excited about the offer can't wait to go up this weekend. I really like Michigan State. They are a consistent top 10 program and are a Big 10 team which is always what I wanted to be apart off. I like the staff a lot too. If I fall in love with it and see myself being there the next 4-5 years, then I plan on committing."

Campbell initially committed to Purdue last summer but re-opened up his recruitment after several schools were able to evaluate his senior film and the progress he has made. His list of scholarship offers now includes MSU, Purdue, Illinois, Syracuse, Maryland, Iowa State, Cincinnati and a host of MAC schools. Campbell’s strong play this fall has not gone unnoticed. In MSU camp last summer, he was an unranked recruit. His stock has steadily risen and Rivals.com now ranks him a high three-star recruit and the No. 40 offensive tackle prospect in the nation for the class of 2016.
